Responsibilities :
  • Track security clearance investigations and perform administrative support functions, including Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) administration.
  • Conduct fingerprinting of company personnel when required.
  • Process VARS through JPAS.
  • Support the FSO with maintenance of FCL documentation in ISFD, and e-FCL.
  • Assist FSO with maintaining an ongoing security education program, e.g. design updates to annual online training, and publish security awareness notices.
  • Assist with Foreign Travel briefings/debriefings and tracking of dates/destinations.
  • Process, track, and maintain collateral classified holdings and shipments, maintain transmittal receipts and ensure accurate disposition in document control database.
  • Oversee and assist FSO with coordination of closeout for all classified projects.
  • Maintain access control systems including badging, access levels, visitor badges, and temporary badges.
  • Prepare and submit CAC Requests as required, following individual processes across multiple contracts.
  • Maintain classified storage containers logs and end of day checklist.
  • Preparation of classified meetings/visits.
  • Other corporate administrative projects as workload allows.
  • Serve as backup for FSO in all areas of security department.
 
Required Job Skills and Education:
 
  • High School diploma with 3-5 years of industrial security related work experience.
  • Must be U.S. Citizen.
  • Final transferrable Secret security clearance.
  • Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
  • In-depth knowledge of NISPOM requirements.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and strong organization skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of internal and external customers, managers, employees, contracts and security personnel.
Desired Job Skills:
  • College degree preferred.
  • Successful completion and certification of DSS, CDSE FSO curriculum (possessing or non-possessing)
  • Familiarity with SIMS or other document control management systems.
  • Working knowledge of SF-86, SF-312, DD-254, and other required forms.
