Scientist Ops - Technical Transfer

Location: Branchburg, New Jersey
  • Manages schedule of deliverables and logistics for design transfer activities from process development to manufacturing for new product introductions to Operations
  • Works with technical transfer team to coordinate and track progress on inputs and deliverables required for design transfer to Operations from Development and updates project timeline as required.
  • Conducts daily communication within team as well as external teams on project deliverables and status. Interfaces include but not limited to Development, Project Management, Validation, Quality Control, Manufacturing and Quality.
  • Scheduling of new product pre-validation and validation testing activities
  • Attend Operations Logistical Meetings as Technical Transfer Representative
  • Ensures manufacturing and testing readiness for new product implementation
  • Creation and review of technical documentation and procedure as necessary.
  • Communicate status of technical issues to the project Team
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as direct the activities of others on a project basis
  • Ability to effectively organize and work in a fast-paced, multitasking, deadline-driven work environment under pressure and with competing demands.
  • Adaptable to changes in the work environment
  • Ability to anticipate possible problems or inconsistencies and drive mid-course changes and corrections in order to avoid impact to overall launch timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with peers, management, and leadership.
EDUCATION
  • BS degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry) and proficiency in project management skills and tools. Project management experience preferred.
  • Must have 3 or more years of experience in a GMP Pharmaceutical or Biotech Manufacturing organization. Knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotech process development and validation is desirable but not required.
