Business Analyst I

  • Responsible for the collection, design and communication of data used by Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs and Packaging Operations that will be used for a 12 month project that involves updating and replacing all packaging used by Company.
  • Acquire Supply Chain data world-wide from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports (Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets)
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Filter and "clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Work with end users to capture all functional requirements to be used in developing any new system tools needed for the project
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  • Attention to detail, careful, deliberate, disciplined, and meticulous
  • Ability to coordinate work across multiple functions internally and offshore
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced PC skills in MS Office, including data analysis in MS Excel and other reporting and productivity tools.

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 years related experience in Supply Chain, Finance, or Manufacturing
