Public Relations Consultant I

Under the direction of the Director, Employee Engagement and Corporate Branding/Director, Internal Communications, this position will support Internal Communications at Sanofi Pasteur US locations through the successful planning and execution of communications campaigns to drive employee engagement and understanding of business priorities for the vaccine business. In this role the incumbent will develop and manage communications plans, messages and materials for internal communications campaigns, special events and projects. The incumbent will liaise with internal and external communications colleagues to support internal communications efforts for assigned communications clients to keep U.S. employees well-informed of business initiatives and to promote employee engagement and retention.
 
Engagement activities: 20 percent
 
Implementation of monthly engagement activities from idea phase to execution
 
Events management: 20 percent

Planning and logistics of internal events; coordinating with internal food service, IS department and set up crews on our client's behalf; communication plan surrounding the event
 
Graphics: 30 percent
 
Logos, posters, e-cards, invitations, VACtion slides, digital kiosk slides, SNN items, internal publications such as the IO Insider, and Employee Engagement graphics including wall graphic displays and activity collateral
 
Writing: 10 percent
 
Develop editorial content for publications, MySanofi and digital kiosk slides
 
Project management:10 percent
 
Project coordination and administrative support necessary for the internal communications function by assisting with the management of retention systems for shared files and records Development and maintenance of trackers to support department workflow and budget utilization
 
Brand guidelines resource: 2 percent
 
Serves as the internal resource for employees to confirm compliance with our brand guidelines on internal and external campaign materials
 
Photography: 2 percent
 
On site events, informal headshots, team photos, SNN articles, publications
 
Art gallery management: 1 percent
 
Procurement of new artist, price list, bio, installation of exhibit in both galleries and uninstall at the end of the exhibit
 
Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities under deadline and operate at a high comfort-level with multi-tasking.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field with corporate internal communications experience required.
5+ years of experience in internal communications in a corporate environment involving responsibility for event management desired.
