Identity & Access Management (IAM) Senior Architect

Looking for an Enterprise architecture level to work on strategy and business analysis

The CSO-TIM organization is developing an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Capability in the context of Clinical Science and Operations Enterprise Architecture. The systems comprising this architecture are critical to ensure regulatory compliance, access efficiency and secure access to all Sanofi clinical systems, for internal personnel, external partners (CROs, LAB services, etc.), external review and regulatory boards, and clinical investigators and site staff. Sanofi clinical trials operate in a highly complex, distributed, and rapidly changing environment, currently focusing on developing business value by pursuing outsourcing strategies, including external partnerships and externally hosted (Software as a Service) application services. CSO systems are highly heterogeneous and dependent upon and interoperate with a wide variety of Services (network, directory, federated identity, etc.) hosted by Sanofi organizations outside of the CSO, in particular, Sanofi global infrastructure and R&D IS as well as by external partners.
The candidate will take the lead analyst role in building upon and extending existing capabilities in this area (external personnel identity management, business role management, application/resource access management, information security, and regulatory compliance with respect to access management), combining both business and IT architecture analysis perspectives. The candidate will work within CSO-TIM and interact directly with Clinical Business Departments, IS Departments (R&D IS and Global Infrastructure), IS Security, and Business & IS Quality, providing a conduit for CSO-TIM with these organizations in the context of IAM capabilities.

Specific Responsibilities:
In association with CSO-TIM management, develop IAM strategic plan an associated tactical, architecture evolution plan (project portfolio and application change control roadmap)
Lead (CSO-TIM) Business Analysis activities in IAM area
Serve as CSO-TIM IAM Enterprise Architect, including direct project participation in strategic IAM initiatives as IS Project Lead
Consult with Application Support teams in the context of incident & problem resolution in the IAM area
Lead partnerships from CSO-TIM perspective with Infrastructure Services, IS Security, and Quality departments in the context of IAM, including serving as representative on workgroups, proofs of concepts, and interdepartmental committees.

8-10 years' experience in business analysis and computer science and information technology, preferably in Pharmaceutical Research & Clinical Development. Experience in large companies with complex organizational structures, including diverse stakeholder populations is a must.
Experience with Identity & Access Management technologies in heterogeneous, interoperable environments.
Experience in IT Security and associated technologies
Experience with GxP regulated systems
Experience with information and application integration and associated technologies
IT Project Management experience
Experience in the operational support of IT systems is a plus

Skills/Knowledge Needed:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical skills specifically in the areas of process and IT system design, development, and operations (issue & problem resolution)
Ability to organize and lead diverse stakeholder teams in the context of requirements gathering, analysis, verification/approval, and test design
Strong knowledge of industry standards, protocols, and technologies associated with network security, IAM (authentication, authorization, identity federation, etc.), and web-services.
Knowledge of Business Analysis methodology
Knowledge of Project Management methodology
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture development & evolution methodology
Knowledge of ITIL Processes

College Degree in related field
