Job Description:
  • Assessing and interpreting business partner's and customer's reporting needs and requirements.
  • Work with business partners to gather and understand functional/technical requirements. Analyze data files, data layouts and data sources and targets to understand data structures.
  • Translate business requirements into data requirements. Author and maintain data mapping and transformation rules book.
  • Develop and maintain data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and have experience in creating complex data mining algorithms.
  • Ability to evaluate, convert and interpret useful information data sets using data mining techniques.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Query data sources to support Client initiatives, Scrubbing and monitoring data to make sure that it meets Clients' requirements.
  • Serve as primary liaison between the technical team and the product team and end-users for the purpose of establishing a common understanding of requirements and the as-built product.
  • Interview business users, analyzing their IT needs in order to develop descriptions of moderately complex systems proposals.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Perform data integrity checks using data gap analysis.
  • Strong ability to formulate business problems mathematically and strong problem solving skills.
  • Proven data manipulation skills.
  • Must have Big Data.
Preferred Skills:
  • Basics of AWS and Hadoop.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, especially the ability to communicate technical issues to a non-tech audience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
