Skills Required:
  • 4+ years of experience with Puppet Enterprise.
  • Experience using and troubleshooting Puppet Enterprise components, including agent / server certificate exchange, agent performance, console and PuppetDB performance, mCollective, r10k and/or Code Manager, Roles and Profiles.
  • 4+ years of experience with Ruby, Linux Shell Scripting, and Windows PowerShell (including Desired State Configuration).
  • 4+ years of experience with git.
  • 4+ years of experience with Linux and Windows environments.
  • 2+ years of experience with installing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Java-based applications.
  • Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, Pivotal tcServer, and Apache Web Server.
  • 2+ years of experience with installing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning .NET-based applications.
  • Experience installing and configuring Windows Server 2012, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft IIS, and Microsoft Active Directory.
  • 2+ years of experience with VMware environments.
  • Experience using vRealize Automation, vRealize Orchestration, and vCenter.
  • Experience working with load balancing technologies like F5 Local Traffic Manager and Global Traffic Managers.
  • Experience working with distributed systems, such as IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment and Microsoft SQL Server Clustering.
  • Experience working with security components such as interacting with LDAPs, Active Directory, SSL certificates and CA Siteminder.
  • Experience working with teams to facilitate coordinated releases, troubleshooting of implementations, and roll-back of changes to return to original state.
  • Experience in troubleshooting methodologies and delivery of root cause analysis.
  • Experience working with a Managed Service Provider to facilitate both Change Management and Service Management.
  • Strong technical documentation and presentation skills.
