Job Description
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain project communications through the UTS Technical Manager
2. Coordinate the assignment of IBM resources to the project
3. Work with the UTS Technical Manager to address pending issues regarding staffing
4. Administer the Project Change Request (PCR) process with the UTS Technical Manager
5. Review the SOW and the contractual responsibilities of both parties
6. Participate in regularly scheduled project status meetings as needed
7. Provide a monthly labor utilization report no later than the 5th business day proceeding the prior month's service to the UTS technical manager for invoicing approval
8. Coordinate the planning of functional releases with MTA and team members
9. Direct team resources through development lifecycle
10. Drive overall quality of functional releases
11. Act as point of escalation to resolve issues together with MTA Project Manager
12. Weekly status reporting and review

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
• The consultant is required to have 10 years' experience with Project Management.
• Experience interfacing with various internal IT and Business teams and external data vendors.
• Strong Project reporting and Risk/Issue management skills.
• Experience with Project time, cost and resource estimation along with budget tracking.
• Experience interviewing various levels of functional, technical and manager applicants.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A working knowledge of PeopleSoft Benefits application.
