Job Summary:
 
Technical/Functional Skills
  • Responsible for Oracle Database Administration 12c/11g/10g/9i and System Administration in different environments LINUX, AIX, Client-UNIX, SUN SOLARIS, WINDOWS.
  • Should be able to Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, Performance Tuning, Backup & Recovery, Cloning of Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Also should be able to perform TKPROF, EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL Trace, STATSPACK and Automatic Workload Repository (AWR).
  • Should have experience in Re-Organization of database using export/import and Data Pump.
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery, Data Guard, RMAN, Real Application Cluster (RAC), OLTP and Data warehousing environments.
  • Responsible for Enforcing Database security by creating and assigning Roles, Profiles and Privileges to various Users (Schemas) on different Objects.
  • Working expertise in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Automatic Storage Management (ASM) & Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitor (ADDM).
  • Should be proficient in using various database utilities like Export/Import, Expdp/Impdp (Data Pump), SQL *Loader and DBverify.
  • Well versed and experience with RMAN backup, hot backup and cold backup. Should be able to performed full backups and incremental backups. Backup and Recovery strategy using hot backup, user managed and RMAN.
  • Experience in developing Shell Scripts to manage Oracle databases daily backups and monitoring jobs.
  • Experience in Migrating and upgrading the databases to higher versions.
  • Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Verbal and Written Communication
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in developing and deploying Cisco Nuance IVR system.
Experience Required:
  • 8-10 years +
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Technical support resource that is responsible for day to day activities and support the system.
  • Tracking production issues and driving them to closure. Should have excellent technical skills to be able to check logs, code, and write code for bugs, enhancements. Should have good communication skills – ability to communicate with other technical teams and line of business partners.
