Job Description
This role is expected to lead two different projects.  The first project is around a reporting solution to provide key metrics around cost centers, actuals vs. budgets. The second project is around financial closing (month end, quarter end).
 
Role Responsibility:
•          Responsible for estimates of all phases of project implementation
•          Support budget management including reporting and forecasting
•          Actively participate in project scoping and planning activities and ensure alignment between all parties
•          Participate on Project steering teams to ensure successful delivery
•          Liaises with other ITS functions and leadership to ensure the effective and efficient project delivery
•          Supports on-boarding of resources and coaches and mentors project team members
•          Responsible that all the actions from post implementation reviews are properly implemented and applied to new projects and programs
•          Responsible for confirming project readiness before starting a new initiative and prior to moving to the next project phase
•          Participates in the project review meetings and provide independent assessment on the projects overall health and status
•          Provides leadership on projects that have significant issues and provide active support when needed
•          Supports the PMO office in ensuring that projects are being reported on accurately
•          Drives accuracy in project financial reporting, schedule, resourcing and forecasting
 
Role Qualification:
•          10 plus years of IT and business/industry related experience with large, global organizations.  A minimum of 5 years in a project management role, managing mid to large projects ($5 Million +)
•          Advanced time management and analytical skills
•          Experience with Microsoft Project Plan and other time management tools
•          Certification from recognized authority preferred (e.g., project management professional [PMP] certification from the Project Management Institute [PMI]) for international projects or global rollouts, and experience in leading internationally distributed teams
