Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead IT and process improvement initiatives that support Home Care services within a large healthcare network. 
 
Description
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead IT and process improvement initiatives that support Home Care services within a large healthcare network.  Projects include Billing Software customization, Lab transport process improvement, and Innovation projects to improve care availability. 
 
Key Accountabilities:
  • Delegates duties and responsibilities among team members. Fosters collaborative and productive relationships among team members. Resolves disputes and disciplinary issues among team members. Communicates appropriately with Executive Program Director and Product Directors regarding shared work and dependencies across multiple groups.
  • Utilizes established Enterprise project management standards, processes, policies, methodologies and tools established by the Program Management Office to manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Oversees project communication strategies, including the use of websites, email, and printed materials.
  • Develops and tracks quality, performance, and usage metrics for the project and systems, and prepares printed and electronic reports for communication of the data as part of Enterprise Governance projects status reporting.
  • Interfaces with Technology and Healthcare leadership to align the work of the systems groups with the strategic goals of the enterprise.
  • Provides recommendations relative to scope, integration, and design decisions to the Epic project leadership.
  • Works closely with the teams and adheres to planned budgets and provides appropriate documentation for variances and exceptions.
  • Functions as an advocate, Change Agent and serves as a positive role model for encouraging others to embrace operational changes and transformation associated with the technology projects.
  • Leads the development of appropriate metrics for quality, performance, usage, and outcomes related to clinical information systems.
  • Collects and aggregates data with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provides clear and comprehensive summary reports to the PMO.
  • Utilizes reporting software, web-pages, printed materials, and other media to convey information to stakeholders and management.
  • Performs other tasks as required.
 
Required Skills:
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Business or Clinical related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Home Care or Healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Epic Home Care experience is a plus.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification or Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage all stages of the Project Management life cycle.
  • Extensive experience managing large, complex projects, in an Academic Medical Center environment and within other healthcare organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong leadership and multitasking abilities.
  • Healthcare IT project management experience.
  • Experience in implementing information systems, clinical initiatives, including electronic healthcare, academic and research systems.
