Our client is seeking a Product Requirements and Design Contractor to work as a key participant in the design and configuration process.
 
Description
A key participant in the research and development of new functionality / features, specifically the design and configuration process. Works to define current processes that support Sales, Finance, Customer Care, Project Management, Wan Operations and Technical Operations to define the future state that will be enabled through technology. Responsible for representing the Business in all technical working sessions and meetings to ensure that the design and implementation meets the business needs based on agreed upon scope and requirements. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.
 
Key Accountabilities:
  • Works with the requester from the business to understand and document the business requirements and user stories across multiple applications
  • Once business requirements have been flushed out, work with engineering teams to deconstruct technical concepts and ensure that the technical design meets the needs of the business
  • Reviews/researches/executes feature and story elaboration across Operations and Business Services
  • Creates documentation such as process flows, business/technical requirements, user stories, test cases, gap analyses, and solution recommendations
  • Provides updates to leadership regarding any changes to scope or possible risks
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters
  • of significance
  • Manage budget and work with application lead to ensure that sprints are slotted appropriately
  • Proactively manage timelines and escalate when required
  • Manage/deliver multiple projects with varying timelines
  • Effectively communicate with cross functional teams from both a business and technology perspective.
 
Required Skills:
  • Generally requires 2-5 years related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Experience with process analysis, gathering business/technical requirements, and project management
