Our client is seeking a Workday Leave of Absence Management Analyst (LOA) who has HRIS experience and will create track and report time-off and leave requests, balances, and accruals for the Human Resources Department.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Run and create Advanced reports in Workday such as will complete workday 'return worker from leave' task.
  • Create and edit time off types and plans.
  • Create rules, eligibility types, calculations, look up tables, etc. for leave and time off.
  • Work with Payroll to ensure earning codes are created and attached to leave and time off plans.
  • Complete full HR/Payroll testing to ensure add/change is correct in Workday system.
  • Create Leave Dashboards for each of the Operations Teams.
  • Administer absence and time tracking training to operation teams.
  • Audit absence and time tracking modules to ensure accuracy per groups.
  • Add calculations and look up tables to time off types based on contract or policy.
  • Meet with HR Executives to discuss desired project, need cost and timelines for proposed projects to gain buy-in.
  • Present test cases in go/no go meetings for internal I.T. Governance team.
  • Create training materials for newly implemented process.
  • Enter time off for employees during leave of absence.

Required Skills:
  • Workday proficiency in Absence and Time Off Preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package including excel.
  • Strong customer service orientation. Maintains positive working relationships with employees at all levels. Acts with genuine care and responsive to customers' needs.
  • Possesses strong detail orientation and analytical skills. Adept at summarizing and analyzing data, conducting research and reporting results.
  • Quick learner. Values learning, able to adapt and seeks situations to increase one's knowledge
  • Strong communicator. Possesses strong written, verbal, and listening skills.
  • Working knowledge in, and strong aptitude for Human Resources Information systems HRIS; Workday system strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge in Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and related state leave policies preferred.
