Tailwind Associates, an EOE, has a 12 + months contract opportunity with our client in El Paso, Texas for a EDI Developer

Job Description
Candidate will have the responsibility of understanding the requirements, Analyze, design and implement. Developing unit test cases and executing and ensure high quality deliverables.

Other Responsibilities/Requirements

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in Application development
  • Ensure high quality code and any other deliverables
  • Ensure there are no build issues after the code delivery
  • Adherence to the established coding standards


Required Skills:
  • Hands-on Technical experience in:
    • Java – J2EE
    • EJBs, Web Services (good to have)
    • HTML 5
    • SOA
    • Oracle 11g
  • Develop complex data extracts, applications, and ad-hoc queries as requested by internal and external customers using SQL, SSIS, Informatica toolset (Powercenter, B2B with MFT)
    • Requests include custom flat files, EDI, user applications, and a significant focus on healthcare encounters and HIPAA X12 transactions: 837, 999, 277, 835, 278
  • Maintain the production Business Intelligence products and solutions, including resolving production issues and responding quickly to priority problems
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues impacting extract delivery.
  • Work closely with Business Systems Analysts to understand requirements regarding solutions, ensure data quality and match-back to core systems transaction results.
  • Collaborate on the definition, development, and maintenance of standards and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation in BI solutions and processes.
  • Serve as mentoring resource for other developers.
  • Support Infinite's goals and objectives by working closely with management team to deliver value to the business.
