Tailwind Associates, an EOE, has an full time opportunity with our client in Albany, NY for an Information Systems Test Analyst III

Job Description:
Information Systems Test Analysts are responsible for performing various testing and analysis tasks on the enterprise hardware, software, and networking systems. They will develop, implement, and maintain test plans and procedures for system integration. They will perform usability testing for overall system performance, reliability, scalability and security. Information Systems Test Analysts will maintain a record of test progress and communicate test results. Some testing tasks require programming and they will be responsible for script writing. They will participate as members of a project team, implementing and supporting large-scale, multi-departmental processing, on-site hardware and/or software systems.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree.
  • 5-9 years of experience.
  • Knowledge and skills to design test and analyze hardware/software systems, and documenting results.
  • Ability to perform analysis of testing data and identify potential problems in hardware/software systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings in writing and in group presentations clearly and precisely.
  • Knowledge and ability to provide day to day support for automated testing software.
  • Ability to assist in developing and evaluating software/hardware system performance criteria and measurement methods.
  • Significant experience with any combination of the following automated testing software:
  • LoadRunner / UFT
  • WinRunner / QTP
  • Experience writing scripts in C, Visual Basic, Java, .Net programming language in production environment.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture including but not limited to: Microsoft operating systems, Citrix, VMware, McAfee, Active Directory, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience with end-use desktop computing systems.

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires strong interpersonal relationship skills.
