Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: Short term contract. Contract could last from one month- until the end of October.
Interview Process: Phone Screen followed by In-person interview.

  1. Greets and welcomes all visitors in a professional manner to the office. Notifies employees that visitors have arrived.
  2. Responsible for scheduling meeting rooms, coordinating events and luncheons. Maintains active awareness of all meetings taking place and resolves any scheduling issues that arise.
  3. Liase with administrators and employees to order, set-up and clean-up all breakfast and lunch requirements for meetings.
  4. Answer and directs all incoming phone calls and emails/faxes in a professional and friendly manner.
  5. When necessary get involved in a variety of ad hoc administrative tasks.
  6. Communicates messages efficiently and checks emails and appointments regularly through out the working day.
  7. Assists in specialized projects which may require knowledge or understanding of office operations.
  8. Performs additional duties as required.

  1. Several years of reception or administrative experience.
  2. Education – minimum high school degree
  3. Self motivated and ability to take initiative.
  4. Attention to detail.
  5. Strong communication skills, including written and oral (including excellent telephone skills).
  6. Strong time management skills. The ability to multi-task and be highly organized with the ability to prioritize workloads.
  7. Ability to meet deadlines.
  8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  9. Work well under pressure.
  10. Flexibility and adaptability in all business areas.
  11. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
