Experienced Content Strategist who is passionate about words and their impact on delivering best-in-class customer experiences. Enjoys working in a highly collaborative, creative and agile team that constantly pushes the envelope on its deliverables. The ideal candidate understands that content strategy is more than just writing and considers the whole customer experience.

  • Engage and collaborate cross-functionally with UX, marketing, strategy and development teams for digital properties on both long-term and short-term online content strategies
  • Take a lead editorial role for eBusiness in regards copy development and edit or proof existing copy for digital and mobile user experiences
  • Evaluate, design and drive content strategy for large and small projects and ongoing maintenance
  • Create and present sales-oriented and brand–relevant content that meets customer needs and business goals
  • Take on a lead communications role for eBusiness, both internally and externally
  • Often act as project lead, coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams, estimating scope and sizing, and handling escalations
  • Help develop and improve site taxonomies to ensure successful customer browsing, searching and knowledge
  • Engage and work with business partners and vendors for Search Engine Optimization
  • Develop, modify and maintain consistency in Regions style guides and standards
  • Positively represent the team to the rest of the organization

Desired Skills & Experience
  • English, Journalism, Marketing or related degree from a four-year university (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience providing web content strategy, site audits and analysis for public facing websites and/or mobile devices
  • Good understanding of user-centered design methodology, Search Engine Optimization keywords and metadata
  • Solid working experience with Sitecore
  • Familiarity with a variety of current content management systems; basic html is a plus
  • Experience working with various stakeholders for content approval, including legal and compliance
  • Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel as well as working knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, WebTrends and other tools
  • Able to work on multiple projects at once
  • eCommerce and/or banking industry knowledge of hoe to use Sitecore
