Leads and participates on team of internal and sometimes external stakeholders to analyze, document, and validate business functional, non-functional, and project requirements, including documentation of the difference between existing and future processes and data. Leads and participates in the scope breakdown of the project from goals/objectives to requirements and needs.
Develops process, data flows and business rules, as necessary. Participates in and ensures effective quality management from requirements through implementation.
Determines impact of requirements on business and technology processes and data, products, applications, forms, communications, marketing materials, web content, etc.
Works with other departments, including Technology, to review business and systems requirements, process or systems design, build, test, implementation plans and post-implementation validation plans to ensure that the business requirements are fully and successfully implemented with known impacts to processes, systems, and data.
Leads and participates in user acceptance, regression and error testing. Develops test plans, approaches, test bed requirements, test data requirements, test cases, expected and actual test results, validation strategies, environmental needs, completion criteria and problem tracking reports to ensure requirements are fully implemented and do not inadvertently impact existing processes.
Role may be expanded or concentrated by project management or other lead BSAs based on project needs.
- 5+ Years Of Experience In Business Systems Analysis
- 5+ Years Of Business Systems Testing Experience
- 5+ Years Of Experience In Financial Services In An Analytical Role with preference for investments and mutual funds experience.
