Designs, reviews, analyzes, configures and maintains an organization's voice communications system. Provides technical expertise and detailed recommendations to end users and to the Technology staff regarding voice communication systems, voice networks, software and hardware solutions, and offers support and troubleshooting.

1. Ensures uninterrupted access to all voice telecommunication features, including voicemail, ACD or PBX systems.
2. Researches and recommends vendors, upgrades and other changes.
3. Reports on telephone system specifications to support upgrades and to ensure proper integration.
4. Develops detailed designs and architecture for supporting networked, IP-based (as well as traditional) voice communication systems across the enterprise, including integration with Session Border Controllers, IVRs and various contact center systems.
5. Provides technical expertise for the administrative management and configuration of telephone switches, voice networks, and various devices including analog and voice gateways; administers the voice mail system; identifies and implements any required security measures that are appropriate for voice communication systems.
6. Coordinates upgrade schedules with internal or externaldevelopers; works closely with IT staff and management to ensure that all telephony systems are monitored and that issues are quickly resolved.
7. Leads voice communications projects at offices within the enterprise, including the opening, closing, or expansion of these offices. Offers research support regarding budgetary requirements.
8. Shares detailed information and provides training to other Telcom personnel. May provide work direction to other team members.

* Six (6) years experience in area or related field.
* A minimum of five (5) years experience with Avaya and/or Cisco telecom experience.
* Familiar with a wide range of Telcom technologies, designs,concepts, practices, and procedures.
