Our Client has a contract opening for a Project Coordinator role. This candidate will be working with Program Managers and Project Managers, who execute and facilitate in the directing of strategy, business analysis, resource allocation and project management for projects conducted, As a member of the team, the Project coordinator will leverage knowledge of the asset management industry to deliver project management support to the End-to-End Trading program.
Key responsibilities include creating project team agendas, capturing and publishing thorough meeting minutes, updating MS Project plans, managing issues/risks lists, and other key artifacts. Provide assistance to resource and demand planning when necessary. Create PowerPoint presentations for senior level audience meetings that require savvy and concise messages and graphs. Assist and create project status reports as a key communication vehicle to project teams, sponsors, and steering committees. Manage project team meeting invites. Maintain SharePoint Sites with current documentation. As directed by the Program Manager, take ownership of various analysis and planning activities e.g., documentation of new workflows, draft of training materials. Serve as a subject-matter expert on project management tools, provide user training as necessary.
Required Skills:
  • Candidates MUST have financial services experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Business Analyst in the financial services industry
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook
  • Must have excellent communication skills and a collaborative personality
  • Strong scheduling and tracking skills
  • Proven self-starter
  • Follow through on tasks
Nice To Have:
  • Asset management experience
Responsibilities:
  • Meeting minutes (must have the ability to understand the context of the meeting, and not just record what is being said by everyone at the meeting)
  • Will have some administrative responsibilities.
  • Problem solving and attention to detail are absolutely critical.
