This position will be responsible for managing the build out of advanced marketing analytic capabilities of the company as part of the Data Analytics team. This individual will play a key role in providing the data and analytics needed to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness across the organization as well as support the further development of new products. The individual will serve as an analytics expert and would operate as a key go-to insights person for clients and account teams. This individual will also be expected to be a "player/coach” from the perspective of doing the analytics as well as directing and overseeing the work of other analysts on the team.

Our "ideal candidate " is an individual who has a strong background in direct marketing analytics, which includes both online and offline channels. They are a proven "player/coach” who effectively take a hands on approach to executing on analytics deliverables, as well as overseeing the analytics work of others on the team. This person has a successful history further advancing their company's use of advanced analytics methodologies and automated processes leading to continuous business improvement.

  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years of related experience;
  • Expert knowledge in statistical analysis, segmentation, descriptive and predictive modeling, market research, testing, consulting and project management;
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Analytics, Math or Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Econometrics, Business/Finance or related field;
  • Masters preferred;
  • Must have experience with analyzing large data sets;
  • Familiarity of digital attribution through tools or vendors like Adometry, Visual IQ or Convertro a plus;
  • Working knowledge of database design, applications, and data flows desired;
  • Basic knowledge of integrated marketing and customer relationship management disciplines desired;
  • Familiarity of campaign management and marketing automation tools preferred.
  • Manage build out of advanced analytics capabilities to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing campaigns;
  • Lead efforts to develop and apply advanced analytics for marketing strategy and targeting;
  • Interact with external clients as well as internal account teams assessing requests and crafting the methodology to address their analytical needs;
  • Work with cross-functional groups on campaign planning and fulfillment with particular emphasis on audience segmentation, optimization and campaign reporting;
  • Provide strategic insight and direction based on analytic results;
  • Development of statistical models, customer segmentations/profiles, campaign analysis and other ad hoc analyses;
  • A strong communicator with the ability to explain complex technical subject matter to non-technical people.
