Experian is searching for a talented Content Strategist to join our Global Web Operations & Optimization team. The Content Strategist will be responsible for developing a global content strategy to help improve user experience on Experian's web properties around the world. The Content Strategist will design and implement a strategy focused on presenting the right content to the right users at the right time, thereby driving higher conversion and revenue.
The Content Strategist must possess a strong understanding of content modeling, information architecture, UX, and content authoring within an enterprise content management system.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with UX, Engineering, and Analytics to better understand clients and prospects visiting our digital properties, in order to devise a user-centered content approach.
The Content Strategist will be guiding Experian's digital marketing teams through a large-scale CMS/content migration project. You will support a variety of business units and regions around the world, both during the migration and post-migration.
Manage global content strategy, including strategic planning, analysis, and governance
Develop a content model for the company's web properties
Develop and manage taxonomies that meet the needs of a large, diverse set of products and businesses in order to improve navigation and site search.
Perform detailed content audits of all digital assets across multiple sites
Define metadata schemas
Define content models for CMS components
Conduct client/stakeholder design workshops and interviews
Oversee content production guidelines
Help define content and digital governance standards
Optimize site search functionality to improve content findability
Define content mapping from current to new site structure
Work with SEO team and agencies to incorporate organic search considerations into content strategy
Serve as an advocate and thought leader for effective content strategy
Perform quantitative and qualitative research, gap analysis, and competitor research
Participate in user testing and user research
Develop metrics for content measurement.
3 - 5 years of relevant content strategy experience
Strong expertise working with an enterprise CMS (preferably Adobe AEM)
Proven content modeling skills
Expertise in taxonomy design
Strong understanding of digital content, information architecture, and content management technologies
Content auditing/inventory experience
Understanding of analytical data and its role in content strategy design
Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
Independent problem solver
A strong sense of integrity, work ethic, and positive attitude

Prior experience with large-scale content/site migration
Experience with Adobe Analytics
Project management experience
