The Desktop Support Analyst role is responsible for responding to and resolving trouble tickets, testing, installing, maintaining, upgrading, monitoring and troubleshooting all PC/LAN hardware and software, thin client systems, printers, approved PC application software and peripherals, connectivity including but not limited to teller, platform systems and printing systems.

Incumbent will assume responsibility for computer inventory and purchasing lifecycle. Assists in the training of end users concerning basic functionality of PC's, thin-clients and provides hands-on support.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
• Provide help desk technical and end-user support for applications, workstations, thin clients, servers, peripherals, mobile devices and phone system for client credit unions.
• Initiate, facilitate, and promote activities to create information security awareness throughout Client and its client credit unions.
• Promote system reliability and efficiency by creating and implementing system standards and operational best-practices.
• Administer data back-up and restoration process.
• Assist with projects and initiatives as assigned, Assists with implementation of enhancements for the client credit unions. Assess the effectiveness of those enhancements to guarantee continuous improvement.
• Assists with the management of the Windows Server environment, email environment; sets up and removes users in active directory and monitors server disk usage.
• Identifies, researches, and recommends PC/LAN/WAN network changes as necessary to support changing needs as identified through the network/PC monitoring.
• Obtain competitive quotes for hardware, software, and services.
• Maintains hardware/software inventory and documents client credit union technical infrastructure.
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of the information systems disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Participate in contract negotiations and monitoring for adherence as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
