JOB SUMMARY

Drive the implementation and management of the Infrastructure Monitoring & Management portion of the Tools and Automation team. Provide support to the enterprise via monitoring and performance management platforms. Lead project teams and be responsible for implementing and delivering monitoring and systems performance management solutions such as AppDynamics, Turbonomics, Solarwinds, Netcool, ServiceNow and others. Perform consistent research, requirements management, standards setting, analysis, license management, usage reporting, and vendor management of infrastructure management tools to meet current and future user requirements. Evangelizing Infrastructure tools and associated use cases and ROI out to the customers through various channels. Directs Service Providers to modify and maintain existing applications to address changes in business processes.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required:
  • 4-6 years' experience in infrastructure management software industry experience in a technology role
  • 4-6 years' experience in solution design and product / technical strategy functions
  • 4-6 years' experience of hands on experience implementing tooling infrastructure for highly scaled cloud platforms
  • 5+ years' experience working with varied architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to performance management
  • 3+ years' experience with technologies such as AppDynamics, Turbonomics, Solarwinds, Netcool, ServiceNow or other competing products
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification

Preferred:
  • Graduate degree
  • 8+ years' performance management expertise relevant to the infrastructure space; Industry and competitive landscape knowledge
  • Strong analytical, communication and facilitation skills.
  • Technology leadership experience in a sourced environment managing multiple 3rd party suppliers simultaneously.
  • Experience working with large hardware OEM and software development organizations – working knowledge of business terms, engagement tactics and other relationship attributes.
