Position: Data Loss Prevention specialist (DLP Consultant)
  • Provide and Maintain security infrastructure, providing stability by following and using the tools, policies, processes and procedures that are available. Provide reporting and metrics. Resolve Incidents while investigate & troubleshoot root causes when escalated
  • Create, review, maintain and update documentation
  • Undertake problem ownership and projects leadership
  • Responsibility for the planning and controlled execution of releases into the managed environment
  • Improving the process by identify areas for automation and scripting wherever possible
  • Client mentioned this is an Operations role (L3 team) not an Architect or Engineering position, and therefore they are first to be called upon in case L1/L2 team are not able to solve the problem, and she is also ready to look at folks who are working on L2 and eager to learn and grow, but apprehensive about Architects/ Engineers who may not be ready to play the Ops role, so set the expectation before sending CVs.
Skill Required:
  • If someone has 3-5 years of DLP experience and total of at least 7 years of experience they can also be considered if they are ready to learn & grow. This is a long term role.
  • Experience with Symantec Data Loss Prevention (Email and Network) is a must have.
  • Experience on administrating and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux system. Or.
  • General Networking skill including but not limited to firewalls, routing, NAT, SI Model, packet trace and analysis knowledge. – Need not be expert in all but should have knowledge of some of them.
  • Knowledge on Shell Scripting, Scripting language (Perl/Python) – Need not be expert but should have some knowledge.

  • Basic database knowledge.
Good to have
  • Familiarity with Windows Servers or Microsoft Internet information Services (IIS)
