There are 3 roles. 1 is approved to start in April and 2 in May.

This team uses SAP, however, the JD doesn't specify SAP. If the Systems Analyst has some background on an SAP project its surely a plus, but we are not looking for a Senior SAP FICO Functional Analyst.

Client is seeking an experienced FICO System Analyst to join our team!
  • Act as a liaison between business analysts, project management, solution architects and development teams, and shepherd projects through the design, build, and test phases.
  • Translate business requirements and business intelligence reporting requirements into functional/technical specification or source system analysis documents.
  • Provide input from high-level to detailed estimates for intake, projects, and change requests in areas of responsibility.
  • Create technical impact assessments utilizing input and direction from business analyst, architects, development and supporting documentation such as functional specifications and use cases.
  • Perform proactive Data Profiling to ensure source system data requirements in the project deliverables.
  • Assist project to find alternative solutions for the source data where appropriate.
  • Provide analysis support to development and test teams for assigned projects. This can include responding to ad hoc analysis requests and collaborating with test resources to validate test cases, defect triage, and resolution.
  • Generally, demonstrate knowledge of application systems in area of responsibility to identify, evaluate and define impacts of changes.
  • Provide alternatives both to the application changing and all upstream and downstream systems, or identity if a change is a manual process taking into account the entire picture as well as the details.
  • Work effectively with teammates and raise issues to management with appropriate frequency and urgency.
  • Train others on new technologies and platforms, where appropriate.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Take initiative to determine the need and to design and deliver training to department and business.
  • Initiates and executes initiatives to improve the processes, procedures, and tools utilized by the team.
  • Reviews deliverables and provides input for other analysts.
  • Creates and delivers articulate and effective oral presentations to a variety of audiences, large or small, internal or external.
  • Readily transfers knowledge within the team and company by taking the initiative to identify opportunities.
  • Coordinates with production support on system enhancements and provide ongoing operating support.
  • Researches production issues and supports the Application Support group as needed.
  • Regularly conveys status to stakeholders and management.

Requirements:
  • MUST BE a team collaborator and communicator.
  • Prior experience as a Functional Analyst with Technical Project Manager background is very good to have.
  • Credit/collections experience, specifically knowledge of Experian and/or FICO processes.
  • Experience writing Functional Specifications Documents (FSD).
  • Capable of quick learning new systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understand issues and escalate to management.
  • Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Full understanding of business process and system modeling tools including Data Flow Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios are required.
  • Understand the system development life cycle and can train others on SDLC concepts.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegate to others as well as monitor their work for completion.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications.
  • Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills to produce clear and unambiguous deliverables.
