Role summary
- The VP, Go-To-Market (GTM) Lead Support will partner with GTM and business leadership to plan and execute the rollout of a digital banking platform, ensuring end-to-end launch readiness and coordinated execution across business, marketing, operations, client service, training, and control partners. This role brings strong program management discipline and drives stakeholder alignment to deliver successful launches and adoption outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- GTM launch program management
- Own the integrated product launch plan: milestones, dependencies, critical path, launch criteria, and deliverables tracking.
- Run launch governance and cadence: workstream updates, executive readouts, decision logs, action tracking, and escalation management.
- Maintain launch artifacts: GTM project plans, launch checklists, RACI, comms calendar, training plan, and readiness sign-offs.
- Coordinate phased rollout planning (pilot → limited release → broader rollout), including launch sequencing and readiness gates.
- Stakeholder management & cross-functional execution
- Drive alignment across Product, Marketing, Sales/Distribution, Operations, Client Service, Finance, Risk/Compliance/Legal, and Change Management.
- Facilitate tradeoff discussions, secure decisions, and resolve blockers to protect launch timelines and experience quality.
- Partner with regional/business stakeholders to tailor rollout plans to local needs, operational constraints, and client impacts.
- Launch readiness, enablement, and communications
- Lead launch readiness across customer-facing and internal teams: training, scripting, FAQs, job aids, escalation paths, and service readiness.
- Coordinate internal and external communications (as applicable): launch announcements, release notes, client outreach sequencing, and executive messaging.
- Ensure frontline preparedness: enablement sessions, office hours, and readiness assessments.
- Risk, controls, and issue management (launch-focused)
- Ensure launch plans incorporate required approvals, disclosures, and control checkpoints (e.g., compliance review, customer communications review).
- Maintain a robust issue/risk log with mitigations and clear owners through launch and hypercare.
- Coordinate incident communications and stakeholder updates during launch windows and hypercare periods.
Qualifications Required
- 7+ years of experience in GTM, product launch, program management, product operations, or business transformation (financial services or similarly regulated environments preferred).
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale launches with multiple stakeholder groups and senior leadership visibility.
- Strong stakeholder management and influence without authority; comfortable driving alignment across diverse teams.
- Excellent executive communication: concise status reporting, clear narrative building, and decision facilitation.
- Preferred
- Experience launching digital banking products (e.g., onboarding, servicing, deposits, payments, cards, lending, small business banking).
- Background in change management, enablement, and communications for customer-facing rollouts.
- Familiarity with compliance-driven launch processes (e.g., marketing/comms review, disclosures, customer support readiness).
