Job Description:
Summary:
- The Project Manager manages and delivers all aspects of projects.
- This person is responsible for all aspects of assigned projects from project initiation through delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk to ensure successful delivery.
- Proactively manage assigned projects to ensure milestones are achieved within plan including proactively managing execution progress, managing communications, reporting status, managing resources, managing change, removing roadblocks, and resolving conflicts.
- Create initial project budget and seek funding approval following the company's capital funding process.
- Manage internal and external suppliers, stakeholders, and customer relationships.
- Participate with management and other PMs in establishing best practices in project management methods and tools.
Required Skills/ Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, business, systems analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience as Project Manager with at least 3 years of experience in Merger & Acquisition
- Strong recent experience in Banking/ Financial domain.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Agile/Scrum best practices.
- PMP and SCM certification a plus.
- Proven ability to lead groups, manage project deliverables, and maintain customer relationships.
- Demonstrated skills with project management tools. MS Office, expertise with Excel, Visio.
- Demonstrated expertise with various industry PM methodologies including AGILE and Waterfall.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
- Strong leadership skills.
