Java 21 | strong AWS services | 25%Python (NJ – Hybrid 3 Days – Contract)

Seeking a seasoned Java 21 Cloud Engineer to architect and build next‐generation backend services using Java 21, Spring Boot, microservices, and high‐performance REST APIs. The role drives cloud‐native engineering on AWS, leveraging EC2, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, and VPC to deliver secure, scalable, enterprise‐grade solutions. Requires strong command of infrastructure automation (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and observability across distributed systems. Python experience is needed for automation, data workflows, and integration scripting within cloud pipelines. Position is onsite in New Jersey three days a week, collaborating closely with engineering, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver mission‐critical cloud platforms.
