Qualifications
6+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Developer with a strong background in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, storytelling and system integration
  • Previous experience with Data Privacy or Data Discovery preferred. Knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with relational/non-relational DB (Postgres, S3, Dynamo, etc.), shell scripting, python, java, API development and lambdas. Experience with GitHub is needed. Broader based AWS experience is a plus as is a familiarity with security concepts. If there is experience with BI platforms (Tableau, PowerBI) that would also be a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
  • Willingness to learn new data management platforms
  • Python, AWS (S3, Redshift, Aurora, Athena, Glue), GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Agile, Growth mindset, Quick learner, Adobe, Kore
  • This is a true AWS-focused developer role (not data engineering), with emphasis on Python, PySpark, scripting, and strong familiarity with AWS services from a development perspective. Experience with data governance, privacy, and working with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is important.
