Contract Role
Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of SAP FI and CO modules, including their integration with other modules like
- Sales, Logistics, and Procurement.
- Proficiency in SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), particularly Advanced Credit
- Management and Collections.
- Experience with core accounting processes like Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- is often required.
- Experience with SAP implementation projects, including full-cycle implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information and pay
- attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders across
- different levels of the organization.
- Project management skills and experience.
- A background in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field is typical.
Core responsibilities
- Business partnership: Act as a single point of contact for stakeholders, managing relationships, and ensuring their needs are captured and addressed.
- Requirement gathering: Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements for FICO-related projects and process improvements.
- Solution design: Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, including system configuration and integration plans.
- Project management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets,
and resources to deliver solutions effectively.
- System support: Provide support for the SAP FICO module, troubleshoot issues, and act as an escalation point for system problems.
- Continuous improvement: Monitor and analyte system performance, identify gaps or opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in areas like Record to Report (RTR).
- Data analysis and reporting: Interpret financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders.
- Change management: Facilitate system cutovers, execute testing, and provide user training and
documentation
