We are seeking a highly experienced Scrum Master with a solid background in insurance or retirement services to lead Agile teams through the full development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be deeply familiar with Agile frameworks and best practices and will have the ability to guide teams within a highly regulated, legacy-modernizing environment such as life insurance, annuities, or retirement products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams working on insurance or retirement-focused initiatives.

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and practices.

• Remove impediments and foster a collaborative, empowered team environment.

• Track and report key metrics such as velocity, sprint progress, and release readiness.

• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a well-maintained product backlog and alignment with business goals.

• Support organizational Agile maturity and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in insurance (life, health, P&C) or retirement services environments.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, and/or SAFe practices.

• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, business analysts, and product owners.

• Experience managing dependencies, risks, and deliverables across multiple sprints or product lines.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
