NOTE FROM HIRING MANAGER: Looking for analysts with a bit more advanced analytical skills e.g., extensive experience with Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), Storytelling, Statistical analysis/modeling, hypothesis driven analysis, A/B testing
Job Description:
We're looking for candidates with a strong data analytics background, including proficiency in SQL and Python. It's also important that they can effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders such as Product Owners and Scrum Leads, and can work independently.
The interview process includes an initial 30-minute screening with the hiring manager, followed by a case study. Successful candidates will then proceed to a final 60-minute interview.
**In this role, you will:**
- Collaborate with internal partners to understand their business strategy, questions, and objectives.
- Structure business requests, translate requirements into analytical project plans, and conduct thorough analyses.
- Gather and integrate structured and unstructured data, ensuring its quality, accuracy, and validity.
- Analyze historical data to identify trends and insights using advanced analytical techniques.
- Develop and present clear data visualizations and internal presentations that transform analytical findings into practical solutions for business partners.
- Establish, manage, and maintain recurring analytical or reporting processes.
- Continuously enhance your understanding of the business and analytics and share your knowledge with the team.
- Document and share best practices.
- Participate in special projects and take on other assigned responsibilities.
**Qualifications:**
- Proficiency in coding with SQL, Python, or equivalent languages (SAS, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau/PowerBI.
- Proven ability to create compelling presentations and communicate data insights effectively.
- Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Prior experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
