Note: Physical data center migration exp is needed (no cloud migration) + Strong Banking exp + Infrastructure & Apps Experience.
Job Summary –
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end operations for a US based retail bank
  • Project Management:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects, including network, server, storage, and security implementations.
  • Define project scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Monitor project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), SLA's, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project dependencies and effectively communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of infrastructure engineers, assigning tasks, providing mentorship, and fostering collaboration.
  • Develop team capabilities through training and skill development initiatives, ensuring technical proficiency across the team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Good understanding of various infrastructure technologies including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), network design, data center operations, server virtualization, and security protocols.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the infrastructure landscape to identify potential solutions and improvements.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team on complex issues.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their business needs and ensure project deliverables meet their expectations.
  • Proactively address client concerns and manage escalations effectively.
