• Minimum of 8 years' development and experience in MySQL/Oracle comprehending the existing SQL queries and writing medium to complex SQL queries.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Unix and shell scripting.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in investment banking or the financial sector.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and maintenance issues.
• Eager to learn new technologies in Big Data Space (Hive, Impala, Spark Sql, Scala etc).
• Any cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google/Oracle).
• Solid experience with Oracle objects(Packages,Procedure,functions)
• Very clear concepts on Oracle architecture.
• Very strong debugging skills.
• Proficient in query tuning.
• Detail oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a virtual team, across boundaries
• Ability to multi-task / self-sufficient
