Subject Matter Expert
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role of a functional and process Subject Matter Expert (SME) who understands the cornerstone, builds process maps, and documents requirements typically involves the following responsibilities: Understanding the business needs: The SME needs to work closely with the stakeholders to understand their business needs and requirements. Developing process maps: The SME should be able to develop process maps that illustrate the flow of information and activities within the process. Documenting requirements: The SME should be able to document the requirements for the process, including business rules, data requirements, and functional requirements. Analyzing the process: The SME should be able to analyze the process to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Identifying potential issues: The SME should be able to identify potential issues that may arise during the process and develop solutions to address them. Providing guidance: The SME should be able to provide guidance and support to other team members involved in the process, including developers, testers, and business analysts. Cornerstone Compatibility: The SME should be able to validate the requirements and processes are compatible with the Cornerstone platform so that we avoid customization to the tool. Reviewing and testing(Optional): The SME should review and test the process to ensure that it meets the documented requirements and that it functions as intended. | ||||
