Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for ensuring that the Product Backlog is defined with Stories that are visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Development Team will work on next
- Demonstrates the configured functionality to stakeholders at the end of each Sprint
- Participates in configuration/unit and user-acceptance testing, which may require up to 100% of individual(s) time during these key events
- Approves the release of the product into production after testing is complete, in partnership with the Platform Owner
- Provides leadership and oversight to other Developers, ensures team alignment to business strategy and the ServiceNow roadmap
- Actively involved in the overarching governance of the platform
- Provide architectural and design oversight to ensure all solutions are fit for purpose and use.
- Design/Build technical solutions based on client's needs and process requirements
- Deliver solutions using Agile software development processes
- Understand the current "as is processes” and deliver toolset changes based on upcoming process changes
- Customisation or development of enhancement requests for existing ITSM/ITOM tools and processes
- Take care of end to end development activities for a specific enhancement or project as an individual contributor
- Identify areas of process and tooling improvement and provide solutions to ensure tool is protected in process, security and performance aspects
- Ensure gaps are clearly identified and reported to BA/stake holders
- Take respective ownership as an individual contributor throughout the project lifecycle
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
Exposure to the follow key modules in ServiceNow is required:
- ServiceNow mobile app experience or ServiceNow mobile app experience
- ServiceNow HR Service Delivery Enterprise
Demonstrable experience in following Technical concepts of ServiceNow is MUST
· ServiceNow web services and APIs
· Workflow Configuration
· Working Knowledge of Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, AngularJS etc)
· Exposure to Integration Hub
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
· Orchestration
· Ability to interface and develop with Java/J2EE backend technologies
· Working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SSO
· Working knowledge of web application
s, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3)
· Exposure to IDR (Instance Data Replication)
