IT Business Analyst for Imaging Platform


Role
Acts as a bridge between IT and the business process owners for our Imaging Platform project.
Experience with implementing fast streaming cloud-based imaging management and analysis solutions for Digital Pathology users worldwide. This includes but not limited to Indica lab's Halo, Amazon AWS, Databricks, Proscia's Concentriq.
At least one year working in Agile environment e.g. familiar with User Stories vs Requirements
Acts as an authority on the Business Requirements, answering questions from the project team, vendor and business stakeholders. Protects project scope and manages Change Requests
Documents and ensures sign-off for Business and System requirements
Reviews and agrees system design with IT Delivery Team, engaging business stakeholders to validate design questions where necessary
Provides updates to the Project Manager on progress against requirements, and reports any risks and issues impacting scope


Responsibilities
Deep analysis of the current state of technologies and infrastructure for Pathology image management and analysis, and develop a future state of growth with a strong focus on fulfilling
scalable and various needs from users worldwide, boosting performance, understanding/investigating the growth of the Pathology capabilities and new technologies with a strong focus on incorporating AI and Client solution into Pathology workflow.
To manage, prepare, facilitate and document workshops to obtain requirements.
To understand business processes and challenges within business applications, and communicate this to technical colleagues within IT.
To develop and maintain close collaboration between business and IT.
To analyze, define and document requirements, in close collaboration with the business.
To conduct user interviews with the purpose of composing requirement specifications, use cases, user stories and other process diagrams.
To support the creation of project plans and operational documents.
To support the project team during the implementation by answering any questions related to requirements
Write and dry-run test scripts together with the business users


Requirements
Excellent English language skills in speaking and writing at a professional business level
Experience within a life science focused organization
Experience with implementing Imaging management and analysis solutions, preferable for Pathology team such as but not limited to Indica HALO and Proscia Concentriq
Experience working on solutions for large datasets for imaging and omics data integration
Strong knowledge and experiences in infrastructure, Architectures, AWS, and various hosting/cloud techniques, AI and Client
