The PM role will be more directly engaged with our business partners and vendor partner in coordinating the delivery of various solutions within the program whereas the Technical Lead role will directly engage with our vendor partner in how the software is being built, ensuring high-quality/standards are met, aiding in troubleshooting as needed, and so on.

Summary
Join a dynamic leadership team working on one of Vanguard and IIG's top strategic imperatives! Serve as a critical leader in driving an integrated business led, technology enabled strategic transformation. The IIG transformation is the largest effort of its kind ever undertaken by Vanguard. We have a high impact opportunity for a Senior Manager, leveraging strong relationship management and influencing to operationalize a multi-vendor ecosystem in order to seamlessly integrate into the Vanguard environment. The individual in this role will directly partner across the Vanguard enterprise as well as with key functions across the vendor organizations. This individual plays a critical role in end-to-end enablement of the future of the IIG Business.

Qualifications
Manages technology projects or technical workstreams within a broader project or program. Develops, implements, and monitors project plans. Contributes expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall department and business requirements.
Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.
Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related issues on technology projects. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
