This Senior Solutions Architect role is part of Prime Finance IT organization and the candidate will be an integral part of Prime Data Application team which are broadly responsible to design, architect and develop Prime Data Platform by providing best in class Data Engineering, Data Management, Data Analytics and reporting services across all Prime business area facilitating external client reporting, regulatory reporting, internal reporting and critical applications that helps the business in making right decisions to maximize profits for the firm. The Big Data/Analytics Solution Architect is responsible for understanding evolving end user requirements in Big Data Analytics and cloud(AWS) technologies, documenting those usage models and business, technical and user requirements and designing a solutions architecture to meet those requirements and specifying an implementation HW and SW solution stack.

The business is at the fore front of industry leading innovative client focused solutions using big data and cloud technologies and the role would require to work in a close partnership with IT, Product Management and business stake holders to develop best in class data platform in-line with firm's Data Architecture strategy, IT controls and operational governance framework.

Key Accountabilities
  • Experience in Solution Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment
  • A broad set of technical skills and knowledge across hardware, software, systems and solutions development across multiple technical domains like – Data, Analytics, Process Automation, User Interface.
  • Demonstrated experience in real world IT or other solutions environments including creating a product in the area of Big Data/Analytics
  • Strong communication skills including representing solutions to IT and Business stakeholders
  • Exposure to emerging trends in Data Management like Data Mesh, Data Operations
  • Strong technical team leadership, mentorship and collaboration with internal IT teams and vendors

Basic Qualifications/Skills
  • MS in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years of technical solutions experience including 5+ years of in a combination of relevant Big Data/Analytics areas including:
  • Underlying infrastructure for Big Data Solutions (Clustered/Distributed Computing/Spark, Storage)
  • Solid understanding of building and managing large scale data analytics solutions
  • Deployment of a large distributed Big Data Application
  • Experience designing, building and operating cloud services is a plus - AWS Glue, Lake Formation, Sage Maker
  • Solid understanding of RDBMS platforms like MS SQL Server.
  • 3+ year of experience in one or more Data Visualization tools such as Qlikview, Qliksense, Tableau, Power BI.
  • 5+ year of hands on experience working into a Big Data/Hadoop technologies such as Spark, Hive, Impala.
  • Experience in using agile tools e.g. JIRA, Git, Team City, Agile Central.
  • Experience in DevOps, source control, unit and integration testing, continuous integration, release management, and other software development practices.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to AWS Architecture & Services.
  • Exposure to stock lending business/data workflows.
