Middleware Administrator
Location: Remote
• Installation, configuration and administration of Jboss 5,6 & WebSphere 7/8.5 servers
• Sound knowledge on High-availability design, configuration and maintenance, including clustering and load balancing for Jboss & WebSphere
• Able to install, configure and tune web servers such as Apache 2.2, 2.4 and IIS (Win 2008, 2012, 2016)
• Able to perform release & deployments using tools Jenkins/Puppet/Manual/BitBucket/ Artifactory
• Able to administer IBM MQ 8 & 9
• Should be good at scripting (Python scripting / Unix shell scripting)
• Should be comfortable working in the Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Should have good knowledge of SSL and configuration of the same in enterprise environment
• Configuration of Active Directory, and Windows Domain and DNS administration and SSO for WebSphere and WebSphere based products
• Tuning and Periodic health checks of WebSphere. Develops standards and tuning metrics and alert thresholds.
• Migrate code between test QA and production environments
• Perform Release & Deployments of applications
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of the issue and fix within committed time
• Experience configuring internet facing URL's and securing it with centralized authentication systems, High Availability Solutions
• Operational regular activities of the web administrator
• Understanding of ITIL processes especially Change Management/Release Management/Problem Management & Incident Management
• Good communication skills (Verbal/Written) as well as co-ordination skills
