Determine required IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
Conduct requirements-gathering activities using a variety of internal and external data and conducting stakeholder interviews
Support the development team by describing and documenting the business requirements
Assist in project management and quality control, delivery and maintenance of business and system requirements
Stakeholder management - identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
Your team
You'll be working with the Securities Financing and Optimization crew in Weehawken or New York. The SFO crew is part of the Investment Bank IT function and is responsible for a broad range of applications across Repo Trading, SBL, OTC, ETD, Inventory and Collateral Optimization. Our role is to develop IT applications to meet the immediate and future needs of the Funding business. The SFO crew is a talented, mature and supportive global team, distributed amongst UK, US, Poland, India and APAC, working to embed the unified model of Agile as we take our platform to the cloud. The crew is a complete functional delivery team consisting of Developers, Product Owners, Product Managers, SMEs, QA, IT architects and Scrum Masters.
Your expertise

• Experience in the financial industry: SBL, Repo or Securities Backed Lending experience is a plus

Track record of leading cross functional teams in an Agile development environment , with a desire to extend this understanding throughout the organization
Client-focused and experienced in understanding and delivering on the needs of our clients
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Adaptable, able to work across cross-functional teams and functions
Mastery in leading change and inspiring others to change behaviours
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, GitLab and JIRA
Able to communicate complex issues across a diverse audience, including developers, QA and internal stakeholders
Able to effectively manage competing priorities and tight delivery timelines
Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership of and accountability for products

Your responsibilities
Being accountable for the IT products that provides at all stages of the software lifecycle, including development, build, deliver, maintain and support
Working closely with stakeholders, SMEs and the development team to identify and analyse business and IT solution requirements and assist with solution delivery
Ensuring business and IT solution requirements are captured, and when appropriate, adequately communicated to stakeholders and to the development team
Facilitating collaborative workshops with SMEs' to capture business and IT solution requirements
Engaging with key stakeholders across the business to develop, prioritize and execute the product roadmap in order to meet business objectives and key results

Educated to degree level
Passionate about supporting the development of IT systems and applications
Technically savvy with an appreciation for IT capability
Adaptable, able to work across cross functional teams and functions
Fluent in spoken and written English
