Apigee Technical Developer:
Number of years of experience to 5-6 years
1. Rich exposure to develop API's using API management tools, Project Support, training, documentation and Quality.
2. Ability to grasp technical aspects, willing to learn new and challenging technology, enthusiasm in accepting challenging assignments, ability to work as team Lead as well as individually with minimal supervision, honest, sincere, good communication skills.
3. Lead API strategy / roadmap initiatives while aligning the strategy to the business objectives for our clients Includes helping establish API organizations, API development methodology and selection of API technology components including API gateway
4. Implement API's using API management software (like APIGEE, Akana CA Layer 7) to include API proxies, mashups, rate limiting, security policies, analytics, monetization and developer portals
5. Building and configuring Kubernetes-based infrastructure, Core-DNS, Kube Proxy, Ingress, etc.
6. Automating the AKS dataplane Kubelet and other add on components upgrades.
7. Managing deployments and rollbacks of applications.
8. Troubleshooting and optimizing containerized workload deployments for clients.
9. Provisioning and configuring AKS as infrastructure as code using CFT, Ansible, etc.
10. Programming and orchestrating the deployment of feature sets into the Kubernetes Container as a Service platform along with building Docker containers via a fully automated CI/CD pipeline utilizing Jenkins, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, Artifactory Git, and Bitbucket.
11. Keeping the Kubernetes platform reliable, available and fast
12. Have good understanding of all APIGEE components and different deployment models
13. Good knowledge in installing APIGEE OPDK and SaS hybrid design with Micro gateway and GCP/Kubernetes/Anthos based Hybrid model infra expert
14. Experience in setting up Apigee Edge environments and configuring various components
15. Very good understanding of setting up High availability, load balancing and failover configurations with Apigee
16. Highly Experienced in implementing API Security and Access Control (OAuth/SAML, Web SSO,2 way SSL, Encryption/Decryption, Basic Auth, API key Auth etc.)
17. Good Knowledge of Third-party integration like LDAP, Siteminder, Ping Fed IDP and F5 etc.
18. Good Knowledge of PKI, Certificate, 2way SSL, 1 way SSL,Cipher suites.
19. Knowledge of Web APIs, REST, SOA/Web services, Internet/network security standards and cryptography.
