Production Support Analyst
Expectation of the role:
Sit on trade floor (post-covid) and interact with the traders, portfolio managers, data administrators, etc. Triage and troubleshoot problems. Attempt to solve. Escalate to another team if you can't solve it immediately Look through logs, databases, applications (not code) to find the problem/root cause " Core Responsibilities/ Qualifications "Expectation of skillset: Ability to learn quickly and retain information SQL skills must have (write select statements, read/debug stored procedures) People skills (good communication, approachable, good energy, handles stressful situations, etc.) Problem solver: can use log files, read through KSH or other language scripts, trace an IT workflow and find the issue.
