Main duties and responsibilities
 
•    Performing software coding and unit testing
•    Coordinating with various technology and Fin Crime colleagues to deliver projects
•    Performing development activities using Python, Spark and Unix shell scripting technologies
•    Coordinating with Fin Crime stakeholder teams as required for the project
•    Learning the technologies and the functional aspects of the projects through self-training and help from colleagues
•    Working closely with other team members in a globally-distributed team
•    Participating in Agile ceremonies, delivering on goals agreed for each sprint
 
Basic Qualifications
 
•    A 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related subject
•    1-2 years' programming experience in Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Scala, and the like
•    1-2 years' experience working in UNIX/Linux environments
•    1 years' experience in developing and deploying micro-services
 
Preferred Qualifications
 
•    Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) or comparable Public Cloud platforms
•    Ability to write SQL queries on RDBMS databases such as Oracle or SQL Server
•    Experience working in BFSI domain
