Job title: IT Infrastructure Analyst

Key responsibilities:
This position performs design, installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of network, security systems, servers, desktops, VoIP phones, AV systems and server rooms, including the Manufacture networks and other manufacturing systems.  This position provides Tier 2 and 3 support, technical recommendations and direction, and coordinate technical projects, related to IT network and infrastructure systems and / or specialized manufacturing systems.

Main job tasks:
IT Infrastructure, covering GxP and non-GXP systems:
• Drive and maintain IT Operations Service delivery and Incident Management at Site, being recognized as the single point of contact (SPOC), for overall administration, operation and maintenance of technological platform at Site;
• Perform regular maintenance of IT infrastructure components facilitating communication and coordination of activities among stakeholders locally and cross organization, including close interaction with other local SMEs in IT/OT, System Managers, and IT QA;
• Maintain IT services and operations according toservice level agreements and contracts, performing regular evaluation (at minimal annually), providing information, feedback and insight on opportunities to ensure alignment with the business needs;
• Acts as IT Operations advocate, coordinating daily activities with the IT Manager (IT Infrastructure Owner) and team members;
• Assists the IT Operations Partner in developing strategic direction for company's IT assets, monitor advancements in the industry, and recommend and implement new and cost effective technologies that meet the business needs.
• Monitor day-to-day infrastructure services availability and performance taking appropriate actions to support the business processes performance;
• Work in partnership with IT Security and other SMEs in IT/OT to implement and maintain appropriate controls and technologies to ensure business continuity;  
• Train other staff and stakeholders, as needed; 

IT Support Tier 2 and 3, including projects support:
• Documents, tracks and monitors the IT service delivery and incidents to ensure a timely resolution(including incident escalation and follow-up beyond the organization, Tier 4);
• Analyze complex computer systems, identify problems, and develop and implement logical conclusions and effective solutions for IT Infrastructure in service operation or during projects (including but not limited to: server's hardware and software, printers, telephony, network services on LAN and WAN);
• Design, Support, troubleshoot, and maintain network communications (data and voice) across facility;
• Design, Administer and maintain Active Directory, Windows, Linux, VMware, and other servers and infrastructure platform for site systems;
• Coordinate efforts as work package owner on IT Infrastructure related projects and lead internal and external team working as part of the project;
• Provide Tier 1 hands on support, as needed (end user/desktop support, including Service delivery and Incident response);  
 
IT Infrastructure SME for Quality assurance / GMP and Validation:
• Maintain qualified state of GxP IT Infrastructure platform at Site, providing input, review, and hands-on in relevant documentation and test execution;
• Drive and Maintain overall IT infrastructure configuration management and execute periodic review (at minimal annually);  
• Support on Inspection Readiness in IT.

Exercise and use problem spotting and solving tools to define the right thing to do;
Listen to others ideas and help them maturing for the business and put them into words, scenarios, and visible strategies;
Inform relevant stakeholders about risks and how to handle/mitigate them, taking the "risk based approach”;
Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes.

Knowledge, skills & abilities and experience:

Education and experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five (5) plus years related experience, MS/MBA and two (2) plus years, or eight (8) plus years (equivalent) years of experience in the information technology field.
• Experience (2-5 years) on Network Administration based on CISCO Technologies
• Experience (2-5 years) on Virtual Infrastructure Administration based on VMWare Technologies
• Experience with Veeam Backup Solution, preferred.
• Experience with SolarWinds, preferred.
• Industry certifications in a technical discipline,preferred.

Skills & abilities:
• A strong understanding and demonstrated ability to manage local/wide area networks and server administration is required.
• Understanding and demonstrated ability with virtualization technologies and platforms.
• Practical experience in developing and administering networks with more than 200 clients.
• Demonstrates a disciplined approach to problem solving that is based on data and facts and is consistent with Vision/Business Goals and Values

Physical requirements and work environment:
• This position may lift up to 33lbs/15kg occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
