JOB DESCRIPTION:
?Take end-to-end accountability of software across all phases of delivery lifecycle
Accountable to architecting a solution for product taking functional \non-functional requirements (performance, security…) and communicating architecture decisions to Development Leads to execute on
Contribute to risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture
Collaborates with Product Manager to understand business requirements and drive to an appropriate architectural solution
Shapes technical direction, governance, and best practices for Squad development
Provides a technical review of the developed solutions
Acts as technical advisor throughout entire Software Delivery Life Cycle
Conducts sessions as required covering higher level engineering standards, practices, and principles
Participates in Backlog Management alongside the Product Manager and BTAs
Review's code and work done by Development Leads and squads as necessary
Addresses concerns raised by the Dev Lead and creates mitigation strategies as needed .
Leverages existing or emerging technology as needed for development use
Oversees tool, technology stack, and coding best practices for the product
Evolves technical systems and processes as needed
Negotiates with Product Manager to ensure tech debt and technical improvements are included and prioritized in appropriate sprints/backlogs
Stays up to date on latest technology best practices and serves as subject matter expert
Document the procedures and recommendations for all phases of product
Requirements
English skills (Advanced - speak is required)
Experience of 10 years or more
Has worked with Agile methodologies
Has worked with Cloud computing architecture and technologies
Has led high performing teams leveraging modern software engineering practices
Product oriented mindset
Microservices architecture
API Governance (Contract Management, versioning…),Swaggerhub
Trunk Based Development and Deployment
C# (.NET Core),Docker,Kubernetes,NoSQL, JSON, Resful Web API
Performance optimization
Test driven development
Good understanding of cloud design patterns, security best practices
Good understanding of AWS services-EKS, lambda, API gateway,S3,SNS,SQS,Dynamo DB and redis (good to have)
