ROLE TITLE : Data Warehouse and Data Engineering Support Lead
Location: Alpharetta. GA
 
SUMMARY
The candidate must be a self-starter, who can work under general guidelines in a fast-paced work environment.  Overall minimum 8 years of experience in traditional Data-warehousing (ETL) and cloud (AWS) data engineering. Experience in development and production support in both traditional/on-premise data warehouse and AWS data engineering.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Diagnose, Troubleshoot and Resolve data and system issues.
Debug SQL to develop queries/reports of varying complexity to troubleshoot and recommend fixes to development teams.
Coordinate with business and IT teams to improve stability of data platform.
Coordinate with various teams on issues, analyze root cause and assist in efficient resolution of all production issues.
Lead support teammates and coordinate with analyst on resolving issues.
Strong knowledge of the SQL, ETL and data analytics skills.
Strong knowledge on Linux shell scripting.
Prepare root cause corrective action document for the ETL issues.
Support and Develop AWS data pipelines using cloud services like S3, AWS Glue, Snowflake.
Perform technical analysis on existing code in both on-premise and cloud.
Maintain moderate to complex data pipelines for reusability using AWS Cloud Services.
Prepare and validate end to end business logic and mappings.
Use standard version control tools to check-in and perform code reviews with Data Integration SME.
Use standard CI/CD pipelines to roll and deploy the code.
Resolve all technical issues raised during SIT/UAT/ Warranty phases.
Prepare root cause corrective action document for the ETL issues.
