1.      Responsible for full life cycle development of new and existing enterprise Cloudera Hadoop cluster and Java/J2ee applications and components.
2.      Work as a team player in a global development group participating in requirements and data analysis, design as well as development.
3.      Communicate and collaborate between the infrastructure, development and business groups.
4.      Strong analytical skills, self-motivated and capable of working in a dynamic environment that demands multi-tasking.
5.      Ability to generate ideas and efficiently mock up proposals and demos
 
 
Basic Qualifications/Skills (Must be quantifiable)
1.      B.S. degree in computer science or related field with emphasis on technology
2.      4+ years of Cloudera Hadoop/Big data development experience
3.      4+ year Scala or Java experience
4.      2+ year data warehousing experience


Preferred Qualifications/Skills
1.     Working experience of handling big data volume
2.     Hands on experience with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem
3.     Hands on experience with SPARK, IMPALA,SCALA
4.     SQL skills with Stored Procedure knowledge.
5.     Knowledge of relational database techniques, data warehouse concepts and architecture
6.     Knowledge of XML/JSON schema design and validation techniques.
7.     Experience working in UNIX environment including knowledge of shell scripts
8.     Overall understanding of three tier architectures
9.     Candidate should be able to diagnose problems quickly and independently.
10.   Sharp, quick, aggressive ability to deal with business and system problems
11.   Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies & applications a must!
