This is a Test Specialist role for System, System Integration or End-to-End testing for projects that require changes to one or several systems. The key purpose of the role is:

·         Should be able to understand the requirements and design aspects and design optimal tests

·         Should be able to play the role of a Test Lead in system testing/E2E projects supporting Technical Test Manager

·         Should be able to perform API testing using Rest clients and automation

·         Should have test automation skillsets so that the person can identify test automation opportunities

·         Should be able to create Automation scripts using defined / new framework and design guidelines

·         Should be able to contribute to framework level changes as applicable.

·         Good to have Devops skillsets

·         Executes Automated Tests and collates evidence for Test automation progress reporting and tracking.

·         Articulates the tests executed, data used, the results and defects to project stakeholders

·         Good stakeholder management skills

·         Should be able to drive the functional testing of allocated projects and help with execution as well

·         Should have good overall testing concepts and be able to contribute to preparation of test models/ scenarios etc.

What will you be doing?

·         Get involved in requirement and design workshops and support test manager/architect in coming up with high level scenarios

·         Support Test manager/ architect in identifying automation opportunities and defining strategy around it

·         Provide support in implementing new enhancements in the existing code, maintenance of existing framework and functions, development of new framework if required.

·         Should have experience in Frameworks like Data Driven, Hybrid, BDD.

·         Strong Java programming skills, web automation skills on tool Selenium, Selenium Grid.

·         Good Hand-on experience on Excel handling in JAVA and Database connectivity through JDBC.

·         Should have strong Debugging skills..

·         Must have knowledge about APIs (REST) and its automation using RestAssured or HttpClient.

·         Must have hands on experience with API testing tools like SOAPUI , Postman Etc

·         Should have experience on CI/CD pipeline using Devops tools like Jenkins.

·         Should have DB skills like SQL , MongoDB, Mainframes etc.

·         Should have working knowledge of JIRA for test management and defect management

·         Set up and Execute Automated tests and record evidence.

·         Prepare different Automated Test Execution Suite.

·         Raise defects with appropriate amount of details

·         Support functional testing team in learning and executing automation scripts

·         Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders to track deliverable during test automation and dry-run phases where applicable. Escalate issues to LM as appropriate

·         Complete tasks / deliverables within schedule constraints (for self)

·         Maintain the documentation on confluence whenever applicable.

·         Provide guidance to other team members/functional team on automation queries.
